Thank you for taking the time to complete this form – it is greatly appreciated by the Sentencing Council. We are currently collecting data on a variety of guidelines in both the magistrates’ courts and all locations of the Crown Court. The Council kindly asks you to complete a form each time you sentence one of the following offences:
In the magistrates’ court:
- Common assault and racially/ religiously aggravated common assault;
- Assault on an emergency worker.
In the Crown Court:
- Causing GBH and racially/ religiously aggravated GBH
- Causing GBH with intent
- Domestic burglary
- Supply/ possession with intent to supply a class A and class B drug;
Across all magistrates’ courts and all locations of the Crown Court:
- Assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) and racially/ religiously aggravated ABH;
- Non-domestic burglary;
- Dangerous driving.
