Manslaughter

The definitive guidelines for sentencing manslaughter offences were issued on 31 July 2018 and came into force on 1 November 2018.

• Gross negligence manslaughter
• Manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility
• Manslaughter by reason of loss of control
• Unlawful act manslaughter
